Pousada Maubisse is a great place to stay if you want to get away from Dili for the weekend. The old pousada and gardens are charming, and it’s located atop a hill in the middle of the Maubisse valley, providing stunning 360 degree views. There are two executive rooms with private lounge rooms in the main building, plus six standard rooms with private verandas in two buildings separate from the Pousada. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with hot water and western style toilets. The standard rooms are basic but comfortable.
