Itisculturallyinteresting with Portuguese colonial heritage, resistance history and Timorese culture. Timorese are generally extremelyfriendlyandverywelcomingtovisitors,especiallyinthedistricts. A’trickle’ofinternationalholiday makers to this ‘new’ destination is definitely starting to emerge and these are arriving for quite a diverse range of reasons.
